The Canadian International Peace Conference Scholarship promotes inclusivity and accessibility for individuals committed to peace, equity, and sustainability. Thanks to our sponsors, a limited number of scholarships are available to help participants overcome financial barriers. The scholarship supports attendance at the conference on April 25–26, 2025, at Saint Mary’s University.
Our fees are structured to help the event break even, and the generosity of our sponsors makes these scholarships possible. They empower underrepresented voices—students, grassroots leaders, and advocates—by enabling their participation in dialogues with policymakers, academics, business leaders, and activists tackling global challenges.
Eligibility:
• Applicants must demonstrate dedication to peacebuilding, social justice, or sustainable development.
• Applicants should explain how their participation will benefit their community.
• The scholarship prioritizes individuals from diverse backgrounds, with particular consideration for those facing financial constraints and may not otherwise have the means to attend.
Note: Scholarship recipients will be required to provide a testimonial to the specific sponsors who funded their attendance. This may be a video or written thank-you message to express appreciation and confirm how the scholarship supported their participation.
What the Scholarship Covers:
• Full or partial coverage of registration fees.
• Does Not provide financial assistance for travel and/or accommodation
