Ruvi is a Zimbabwean Canadian who arrived in Canada in 20027 where she majored in Psychology at Saint Mary’s University. After graduating, she started working with adults with intellectual disabilities. In this role, Ruvi learned that she values being a consistent part of people’s lives. After becoming a mother, it was time for a pivot. She began working as an Engagement Officer for Efficiency Nova Scotia's Green Schools Program run by Thinkwell Shift. With hardwork and dedication, Ruvi is now Director of Projects at Thinkwell Shift, a resource conservation company that believes in making change through choice. Ruvi supports Program Managers who run multiple programs for Efficiency Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Power. Ruvi believes her ability to speak to people is what has made her so successful. Being talkative has led her to constantly ask questions. Reaching out, talking to people, and staying curious helps her ensure she’s always doing the right thing and doing her best. She was awarded the prestigious title of being Efficiency Canada's Atlantic Canadian Trailblazer, which has led to her joining multiple panels across Canada, and being a Keynote Speaker for the Clean Energy & Equity Network Summit, and Clean Nova Scotia's Youth Summit.
